Natalias Epic Road to Rio Update![]() If you have been following her story you will remember that Natalia had one last chance to prove to the Sailing NZ that she is good enough to get to Rio… here is her update … Natalia Kosinska's Epic Road to RioNatalia Kosinska is one of our awesome Massage Therapists here at Bodyneed. She is also New Zealand’s top female windsurfer – her road to the Olympics has been fairly epic to say the least – she has qualified in her windsurfing class to go – but that is not enough according to Yachting New Zealand to guarantee them a place in the NZ team. Why? Well that is a tale of politics and funding decisions – the upshot is Natalia has one more chance to get to Rio (competing in Hyeres, France at the end of the month) but even if she proves herself there she will still have no financial support from Yachting NZ. And we wonder why we don’t get more medals?? Read the full story from Dana Johannsen, NZ Herald’s Chief Sports Reporter …. She’s learnt a wee bit during her time running so we were eager to pick her brains.
